Project overview
Highland Industrial Machinery Company WLL (HIMCO), under subcontract for AIC WLL, successfully executed the construction of the ALEASTUR Middle East SPC Plant in Bahrain. With a project value of BHD 2.283 million, the plant was completed within a tight timeline of just nine months, from July 2020 to April 2021. The comprehensive scope of work encompassed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, including building works, mechanical installation, structural and piping systems, LPG systems, electrical and instrumentation works, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems.
The project presented numerous challenges, including stringent deadlines, the integration of complex systems across multiple engineering disciplines, and maintaining seamless coordination with ALEASTUR’s global standards. Additionally, logistics and material procurement were managed effectively despite disruptions in the global supply chain.
